The ULM Athletic Foundation is grateful for its donors' support of student-athlete services. From facilities to scholarships and anything in between, ULM would not be the same without them. Our web site will spotlight the Warhawks' benefactors monthly as a show of thanks to them.

May's edition focuses on Tom and Deanie Baker.

Are you an alumnus of ULM?

Tom Baker is a 1971 graduate of NLU with a BBA in marketing.

What is your favorite memory of ULM Athletics?

Getting together a group of 30-plus people, being transported to ULM and having all sit together for a game, then being transported back to Bayou Desiard Country Club for a late dinner. We did this twice, to both Monroe and Ruston.

Why do you support ULM Athletics and its student-athletes?

Giving back to our community and helping our student-athletes have both an education and enjoyable experience.

What do you like most about ULM?

The footprint that ULM makes in our community is a vital part of our overall quality of life essentials.

What makes you most proud of ULM?

The long list of supporters that continue to give and support the University.

If you could describe ULM in one word, what word and why?

“VITAL” – Without ULM in our community, a void of faculty and students would be detrimental
