Warhawks Send Doubles Pair to ITA All-American For Second Straight Year

Monroe, La. – The ULM Women's Tennis Team is set to send Petra Horakova and Stefana Andrei to the ITA All-American Championships this weekend in California. For the Warhawk duo the tournament will begin on Saturday against an unknown opponent.

NOTABLES

-This will be just the fourth time in school history that the Warhawks send representation to this prestigious event. Last year Caitlin Herb and Petra Horakova both competed in the event and would go onto beat the No. 2 team in tennis from USC.

-For the second straight year the Warhawks are the lone representation in the ITA Championships from the Sun Belt Conference.

-The tournament will feature schools from all over including: Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, Stanford, North Carolina, Auburn, Pepperdine, Illinois and so many more throughout the event.

UP NEXT

-While Andrei and Horakova are representing the Warhawks in California the rest of the team is getting set to compete in Lafayette this weekend in the Ragin Cajun Fall Classic which will be contested on Friday September 30 and Saturday October 1 in Lafayette.
