FROM COACH HILTZ
About the match: I'm really pleased with how well we stayed composed the whole night. We stayed positive through everything and didn't let little mistakes bother us at all. Our mental state of mind was very good all night and when we play with that mindset we are very hard to beat.
About the players: Mikaela had a strong game which is exactly what we need her to do when teams key on stopping Hope. They both did a nice job taking care of the ball and finding openings in La Tech's defense. Kacey was outstanding tonight defensively. Our block was good at times which helps KC out a lot but she was in a zone both in serve receive and defensively and was simply fun to watch.
Looking forward: My hope is that we can build from this win and the way we played and take it with us to Lafayette on Saturday. I feel like we will.
