Monroe, La. – The ULM Tennis Team is getting set to take over Texas as the Warhawks will send representation to two different tournaments in Texas. Half the team will head to Waco for the Under Armour/Heb Kickoff while the rest of the team will go to Dallas and compete in the SMU Invite.
NOTABLES
-In Waco, the Warhawks will send Stefana Andrei, Tiffany Mylonas, Karolina Snita and Madalina Grigoriu to compete in the Under Armour/Heb Kickoff.
-The schools that ULM will compete against in Waco are: Troy, Georgia State, Mississippi State, Wisconsin and Baylor.
-In Dallas, the Warhawks are sending Ioana Popescu, Luana Stanciu and Patricia Villar to compete in the SMU Invite.
-The Warhawks will compete against the following schools in Dallas: Sam Houston State, Incarnate Word, Northwestern State, Air Force, Marquette, Houston, UTSA, UT-Arlington, Gonzaga, SMU, Abaliene Christian and Kansas State.
-The Warhawks enter these two tournaments coming off of the Ragin Cajun Invitational, where the Warhawks won the top two flights individual titles was Tiffany Mylonas and Ioana Popescu were both victorious.
UP NEXT
-Following the tournaments in Texas, the Warhawks will begin preparation for the ITA Regionals in Tuscaloosa, AL. The four-day tournament will begin on October 14 and run through October 17.
