Warhawks Open Golden Eagle Jam in Fifth Place After 36 Holes

Hattiesburg, MS – The ULM Women's Golf team opened the Golden Eagle Jam on Monday with a strong showing, posting a fifth place performance through the opening 36 holes.

NOTABLES

-Shani White paced the Warhawks with a 36-hole total of plus-three, finishing just nine shots back of the individual leader from Central Arkansas. White's first round was a 72, which she followed up with a 75 in the afternoon wave of action. White's 72 score is her best of the season through the opening three tournaments.

-Devanshi Naik finished second of the Warhawks posting a plus-five on Monday afternoon. Naik posted a 78 in her opening round however she followed that round up with a season's best of 71 in the afternoon to put her in a tie for 11th going to the final round.

-Olivia Landberg finished third for the Warhawks with a plus-10 score for Monday's rounds of golf. Landberg posted a 78 and followed that up with a 76 in the second round on Monday.

-Ashton Maddaloni sits in a tie for 24th for the day after shooting a plus-11 on Monday. Maddaloni posted a 77 and followed her opening round of 77 with a 78 in round two to tally her 36 hole total to plus-11.

-Michaela Osborne rounded out the Warhawk team on Monday posting a plus-12. Osborne posted a 79 and followed up that round with a  77 which puts her in a tie for 26th after two rounds.

-Lesley Atkins competed for the Warhawks as an individual on Monday and she posted a combined 36-hole total of plus-14. She highlighted her 36 holes with a 76 in the afternoon round on Monday.

UP NEXT

-ULM will now move to Tuesday's final round of the Golden Eagle Jam. The entire field will have a shotgun start set to begin at 8:30 a.m. as the Warhawks look to move up the leaderboard.
