Tuscaloosa, Al. – The ULM tennis team continued its strong play in the ITA Regionals Saturday, winning in all three of the singles matches.
NOTABLES
-Stefana Andrei continued her strong performances on Saturday by winning against Tulane 6-4,7-5 to set up a matchup in the semifinals against Auburn on Sunday.
-Tiffany Mylonas in the consolation bracket defeated Southern Miss on Saturday in a long, three set match before winning the matchup 5-7,6-0,10-5. She will move onto Sunday morning against McNeese State.
-Ioana Popescu in the B singles main draw won her matchup against UL-Lafayette 7-6(4), 6-1 to move onto Sunday against UAB.
-In doubles action on Saturday, Petra Horakova joined Andrei on the court against Troy and the Warhawk duo won 8-4 to move onto a matchup against the home team in Alabama. ULM was unable to come up with that victory against the Crimson Tide, ultimately falling 4-8.

-ULM will continue in Tuscaloosa on Sunday as it looks to continue to progress through the respective brackets in the ITA Regional Championships.
