Earlier this season, ULM defeated Little Rock 1-0 in Monroe back on September 23, with Alexiss Trudeau scoring her first collegiate goal in the win.

"Making the tournament this first year for me is exciting but I couldn't do it with out the help of my assistants, support staff, and most of all these 26 players," commented head coach Keyton Wheelock.

"The team has put a lot of sweat, blood and tears into these past few months and THEY are the reason we have made it. This being the first time the team has made it is something special. These girls and seniors have earned the right to play in the postseason. They deserve to enjoy this and see their hard work payoff. I am so thrilled watching them get to experience this for the first time," Wheelock continued.

ULM is making its first appearance in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament since joining the Sun Belt back in 2006, and this will be the program's first conference tournament appearance overall since playing in the 2005 Southland Conference Tournament. The Warhawks have a 3-5 overall all-time mark in conference tournament play.

The meeting against Little Rock will be the first matchup in postseason play between the two teams, who have met 18 times overall in regular season history.

ULM is led this season by Cke'Lana Caesar and Emely Portillo-Segovia, with each scoring three goals to lead the team. Danielle Sabathe and Alexandria Skidmore each had three assists during the regualr season to lead that category. The Warhawks are led in goal by Brooke-Lynn Scroggins, who led theSun Belt with 124 saves during the regular season while also adding six solo shutouts.
