Head Coach Tim Baldwin
Thought on the Opening Round: I am satisfied with where we are. We have two guys in the top five, led early on by Hogan Arey as he shot a 71 today. We didn't shoot ourselves in the foot and we are looking to building on what we did today and we still need to clean up some things with far to many double bogies. If we can clean up our scores and cards I think I see good things for us in the end.
Hogan Arey
Thought on Opening Round: Today was a special day for me especially with everything going into it I got to play with my roommate from my first two years here at ULM (Callum Hill of Oregon State). That was special for me. My mother and grandparents were here - that was special. The fact that I just executed the plan was very special as I am just one of four under par rounds. Today was a good result and I understand the process it takes to repeat that result.
First Round Leader Tanner Napier (Arkansas State)
Thought on Opening Round: I thought I just had a good game plan going in and I went out there and hit some good shots and hit some good putts and it was a pretty good day as the course is in great shape.
