QUOTEABLES

Head Coach Keith Richard

Thought on the game: Give Texas a lot of the credit. They are very long and athletic across the board - not just their bigs but also the guards. About midway through the first half they went to a different style of defense and we struggled with their changing style on that end of the floor. Once they went to that defensive style we didn't get many open looks and when we did we struggled to score. A lot of it was due to them because it was hard to score inside the three-point line. Overall though it was a great learning experience for us to get this type of exposure to a quality opponent early on and we need to continue to grow throughout the non-conference schedule.

UP NEXT

-The Warhawks will now prepare to go to Boulder, Colorado on Thursday night to face Colorado. The matchup, which is ULM's second of four Legends Classic matchups, will tip off at 8:00 p.m. CST from Boulder.
