Warhawks Return Home For Matchup With SFA

MONROE, La. – The ULM men's basketball team returns home to Fant-Ewing Coliseum on Monday for the first time in 17 days to face Stephen F. Austin. Monday night's game will be on Warhawks All-Access and can also be heard on the Warhawk Radio Network. The Warhawks are 1-4 on the season, coming off of a tough four-game road stretch, while SFA is 2-1 on the year and comes in winners of their previous two games.

NOTABLES

Last Time Out: ULM battled against Bryant last Tuesday night but came out on the wrong end of a 64-57 result in the sub-regional of the Legends Classic.

Warhawks Return Home: After four straight on the road, the Warhawks return back to Fant-Ewing Coliseum for the first time in 17 days on Monday night. ULM won their home opener against Centenary 96-63 and are 28-4 over the last two-plus seasons at home.

New Faces Make Quick Impact: The Warhawks new faces have made a quick impact as both Jordon Harris and Marvin Jean-Pierre are pacing the squad with 12.4 points per game and 10.6 points per game, respectively. Fellow newcomer Sam McDaniel has started the season strong on the glass with 6.4 rebounds per game.

Sun Belt Leaders: Through the November 26 schedule of game, sophomore Travis Munnings currently sits in a tie for second place among all Sun Belt Conference players with 9.6 rebounds per game so far this season. Senior Nick Coppola is currently third in the SBC with 5.8 assists per game while he also sits in first with a 14.5 assist to turnover ratio (second in the nation).

Head-to-Head: The Warhawks matchup with Stephen F. Austin for the 51st time in each school's history. The Warhawks have the all-time series lead 30-20 while they have also have won 15 out of 22 inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

Closing in on 1,000 points: With eight points scored in Tuesday's game vs Bryant, senior Nick Coppola is closing in on joining the 1,000 point club. He now has 966 career points in his career.

-Following Monday night's game, the Warhawks will travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. to face Chattanooga on Saturday. ULM will do battle with the Mocs at 1:00 p.m. CST on Saturday in Tennessee.
