MONROE, La. - The ULM tennis team will hit the road for a pair of matches in the state of Alabama this weekend, taking on SEC foe Auburn before Warhawks square off in their first Sun Belt Conference match of the season when they face Georgia State.
NOTABLES
-The Warhawks are coming off of a tournament in TCU where they battled against Texas State, TCU and UTEP. ULM won in doubles play against Texas State and UTEP while falling to TCU. In singles action, they fell to the host Horned Frogs while defeating UTEP and Texas State.
-The Warhawks enter dual match play this weekend coming off a season where they won 13 matches including going 4-0-1 inside Heard Stadium.
-ULM is 4-5 all-time against Auburn, falling the last time they meet, back on February 19, 2012 (6-1score). The Warhawks have yet to defeat Georgia State in three previous meetings.

-The Warhawks will have another attempt at a home opener next Saturday, January 28 when they welcome Sam Houston State to Monroe. The match will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Heard Stadium.
