FROM COACH DOW

“Georgia State is a team that can hurt you in a number of ways. Jada Lewis has been doing well from the perimeter, shooting 59 percent from three-point range. Makeba Ponder is also a threat from the perimeter and has been throughout her entire career. Kierra Henry is a really athletic driver and she also has the ability to make plays around the rim. Then you take a look at their post players and they are obviously a hand full as well. Starting with Tiffany Holston who is averaging a double-double. She is very athletic and a player that we have to make sure that we keep off of the offensive boards. The other post player, Daja Titier, had 23 points against us in the first game and we have to work on keeping her in check this time around. This team is a team that will give you a variety of looks defensively. We have to keep our composure, stay organized and ready to attach whatever it is that they throw at us.”
