Statesboro, Ga. - The ULM women's basketball team remains in the state of Georgia to close out the weekend at Georgia Southern on Saturday afternoon in Sun Belt Conference play.

Last Time Out: ULM suffered a tough 87-35 loss on the road to Georgia State Thursday night. ULM ended the first quarter only six points down with the score at 19-13, but the Warhawks were held to just seven total points across the second and third quarters as the host Panthers opened up their lead.
Last time vs. Georgia Southern: The Warhawks trailed by just six points at the half, but eventually fell to Georgia Southern 65-44 back on January 12 inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum. ULM kept the Eagles within reach as the teams went to the locker room at the half with just six points between them before Georgia Southern went on a 20-2 run to start off the second half.
Road Hawks: The Warhawks will be closing out their second to last road weekend in the regular season with the conclusion of playing Georgia Southern. The final road trip will take place on February 23 and 25 when ULM travels to Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State.
Opponent: Georgia Southern has played five games since the Warhawks met them on the hardwood last and accumulated a 3-2 record in that time span with wins over Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State and South Alabama as well as losses to Louisiana-Lafayette and Troy.
