Warhawks Continue Homestand Monday Against Troy

MONROE, La. – The ULM men's basketball team continues its three-game homestand on Monday night with a matchup against the Troy Trojans. The matchup with the Trojans will tip at 7:00 p.m. and be available to listen on the Warhawk Radio Network and can be seen on Warhawks All-Access.

The Warhawks enter the tilt with a 7-18 mark, coming off a three-point loss to South Alabama on Saturday, while Troy is 13-12, coming off a 100-88 victory in Lafayette over the Ragin Cajuns on Saturday night.

NOTABLES

Last Time Out: ULM couldn't overcome a hot shooting South Alabama team in route to a 66-63 loss on Saturday afternoon. The Jaguars shot 55 percent in the second half to grab the Sun Belt road victory.

Head-to-Head: The Warhawks and Trojans meet on Monday for the 17th time in program history. The Warhawks enter Monday's game winning five of the last six meeting including each of the previous four matchups against Troy.

Scouting the Trojans: The Trojans enter Monday's game coming off of a 100-88 victory over the Cajuns on Saturday night in Lafayette. The Trojans are paced by Jordon Varnado who leads the team with 15.6 points per game and 6.8 rebounds per game as he dropped 31 on the Ragin Cajuns on Saturday night. Wesley Person is averaging 14.5 points per game while Jeremy Hollimon is averaging 12.5 points per game.

Sun Belt Leaders: Following the February 11 slate of SBC games, Travis Munnings sits second in the league averaging 8.3 rebounds per game while also sitting third in the league with 5.9 defensive rebounds per game average. Nick Coppola leads the league averaging 36.9 minutes per game while he sits third in assists per game at a 4.3 clip. Coopola also leads the league in assist to turnover ratio at a 2.8 mark.

Home Cooking: The Warhawks hit a historic milestone on Saturday against South Alabama. Saturday's game was the 600th game in the history of Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Warhawks hold a 423-177 all-time inside Fant-Ewing. The Warhawks moved to 6-4 this season inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum with a 66-63 matchup to South Alabama on Saturday afternoon. The Warhawks are now 33-8 over their last two and half seasons inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

Sharing the Basketball: The Warhawks have 326 assists on 611 made baskets so far this season. Nick Coppola leads the way with 107 assists, while Travis Munnings has 53 assists so far this season and Jordon Harris has 39 assists on the season.
