MONROE, La. - The ULM softball team returns home to Geo-Surfaces Field for a weekend Sun Belt Conference weekend series against Texas State.
NOTABLES
Last time out: ULM kicked the week off with a 5-1 win at Stephen F. Austin on Wednesday night thanks to a big offensive inning. The Warhawks did all their scoring in the fifth inning, using three hits and two Stephen F. Austin errors to plate the five runs, which was more than enough support for ULM pitcher Melanie Coyne in circle.
Road Hawks: After this weekend, the next five games the Warhawks play will be on the road. ULM will not play at home again until April 8.
Texas State: The Bobcats have lost only four games on the season; to Abilene Christian, No. 25 ranked BYU, New Mexico and No. 2/3 ranked Auburn. The team will enter the weekend on a nine game winning streak and an undefeated 5-0 SBC record. Texas State has only lost one game on the road (not counting neutral site games).
