Texas Relays
Location: Austin, Texas
Monroe, La. – The ULM men's and women's track & field teams are set to head to the Warhawks' biggest event of the spring beginning on Thursday at the Texas Relays.
NOTABLES
-The event in Austin features 7,700 athletes from 37 different states and 17 nations throughout the event this season.
-The Warhawks will begin competition at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday as Adriunna Brown and Andre Phillips will compete in the 400 individual hurdles prelims, with the finals slated for 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
-The team has a busy Friday, slated to begin at 9:30 a.m., as the men's 4x100 meter team is scheduled to compete. Also the Warhawks have Kourtni Russell and Ava Paul competing in the 100 meter hurdles. Levaughn Battick will compete in the 110 meter hurdles while Emile Trahan and Semaj Lewis will run in the 100 meter dash on the men's side and LaPorcha Griggs on the women's side.
-Starting at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Brown will compete in the women's long jump while Kyle Weiss will have the men's shot put on his docket.
-At 12:30 p.m. on Friday the men's triple jump with be held, with Lebrun Nelson competing for the Warhawks in the event.
-Jevaughn Shaw will compete in men's discus throw at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Alexis Gordon will compete in the women's discus on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

-Following the Texas Relays, ULM will be back on the track again for the SFA Kight Invitational, which begins on Thursday, April 6.
