MONROE, La. – The ULM baseball team steps back into Sun Belt Conference action on the road with a three-game series at Texas State. All games across the Sun Belt will played Thursday through Saturday this week with the Easter holiday. The Warhawks saw their midweek contest with Louisiana Tech postponed due to rain, while Texas State fell at Texas on Tuesday night.

-ULM and Texas State have met a total of 71 times on the baseball diamond and the Bobcats hold a 40-31 advantage in the all-time series...this will be the second straight season that the teams play in San Marcos after last season's series was forced to move to Texas after severe flooding in northeast Louisiana.
-Senior Anthony Herrera tossed the final 2 1/3 innings in ULM's 5-4 win over Georgia Southern on April 1, striking out three batters, on the way to his 20th career save, tying Mark Wisniewski (1982-1985) as the program's all-time saves leader…Herrera's 10 saves last season as a junior tied the ULM program record for most saves in a season, joining Michael Durham (2000) atop the record book.
-As a team, the Warhawks have thrown out 23 would be base stealers this season, leading the Sun Belt Conference in the category. Spencer Hemphill has thrown out 18 would be base stealers, leading the league individually.
-Cade Harper leads the Warhawks with a team-high .322 batting average amongst players with at least 50 at bats this season, while Chad Bell leads the team with eight doubles as ULM has 77 total extra-base hits as a team to date (54 doubles, 16 home runs, seven triples)…On the mound, Anthony Herrera leads ULM with a 1.44 ERA in 12 appearances out of the bullpen…starter Chase Beal leads the staff with 36 strikeouts, as six different pitchers each have at least 15 strikeouts (Tyler Schwaner – 19, Kyle Backofen – 20, Chase Cater – 25, Keegan Curtis – 26, Anthony Herrera – 29, Josh Leone – 30, Chase Beal – 36).

-The series with Texas State is slated for a 6:00 p.m. first pitch on Thursday night before another 6:00 p.m. start on Friday night. Sunday's finale will be a 1:00 p.m. first pitch. ULM will then make the short trip to Grambling next Tuesday night.
