Todd Dooley joined ULM as the department's Associate Athletics Director for Compliance in February 2016.
Dooley arrived in northeast Louisiana following a lengthy tenure with the University of Tennessee. After serving as a graduate assistant for two years, he was promoted to full-time status in 2000. In August of 2002, he moved up the ladder again to assistant director for compliance and operations. His hard work was rewarded in 2012 when he was named the Vols' Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance.
Dooley oversaw the softball program, as well as financial aid, on-campus housing, the Opportunity Fund for the student-athletes, a coordinator for the Renewing Academic Program and is the Compliance Representative for the SEC SAAC. He also carried out various other day-to-day compliance duties.
Prior to joining the administrative ranks, Dooley served as a manager for the Lady Vol basketball team for four years and earned a degree in history from Tennessee in 1997. After graduating, he spent a year as an assistant coach for the women's basketball team at nearby Maryville College before returning to his alma mater and earning his master's degree in sport administration in 2000.
