MONROE, La. - ULM's 2010
football season opener against Arkansas on Sept. 11 will be televised live on
Fox Sports Net, the Southeastern Conference announced Wednesday afternoon. The
game will kick off at 6 p.m. from War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark. The game will also be available on ESPN3 and ESPN GamePlan.
The Warhawks will appear on TV
at least five times this season. ULM's games against Arkansas State (9/18) and
Troy (10/30) will be televised by the Sun Belt Network, while its games against
Auburn (10/2) and LSU (11/13) will be televised by the SEC Network. Game times and the
specific network that will televise the SEC Network games are typically
announced 10 days prior to the game.
ULM's final three Sun Belt Conference games -
FIU, North Texas and UL-Lafayette - could also be televised by the Sun Belt
Network. The Sun Belt announced a new twist to its television scheduling process
this year allowing for four wild card games at the end of the season instead of
scheduling all 12 games prior to the start of the season.
The Warhawks came within one point, 28-27, of
knocking off the Razorbacks when the teams last met in 2008. This year's
meeting will be the ninth all-time between the two schools.
