MONROE, La. -- On
Monday afternoon the members of the ULM Baseball Maroon team donated blood at
LifeShare Blood Center in Monroe.
Members of the victorious Grey team were also volunteers as they donated
Monday.

In the best of five series, Maroon held a 2-1 advantage
as Trey Setzer (game two; Oct. 19) and Cale Wine (game three; Oct. 20) earned
victories. Setzer surrendered just one
run on four hits in six innings of work.
He also struck out six and walked two as Maroon evened the series with a
6-3 win. Wine earned the win in game
three as he allowed two runs on eight hits in six innings on the hill. He walked three while striking out five in
the 13-2 rout of the Grey squad.
The Grey team evened the series with a 2-0 victory in
game four on Oct. 26. Josh Faciane drove
in the only runs of the game with a two-out, two-RBI single in the bottom of
the first inning. Shelby Aulds improved
to 2-0 in the series as he allowed just one hit and three walks while fanning
four during six innings of work. Alex
Dumaine earned the save after allowing just one hit and one walk with six
punchouts during the final three innings.
The Grey team captured the fall series with an 11-6
victory in the finale on Oct. 27. The
final contest between the two teams totaled 17 runs, 30 hits and seven
errors.
Logan Fiasco and Judd Edwards led the Grey team with nine
hits each while combining for seven runs and five RBI. Shelby Aulds was a force on the mound as he
finished with a 2-0 record and a 0.00 ERA in 12.0 innings of work. He struck out 11 during the series with three
hits and three walks. Maroon team batters
posted a .079 batting average off of the senior.
Jeff Fuller led the Maroon team with a .474 batting
average (9-19) during the series with five RBI and five runs. Andrew Richardson posted a 0-1 record and
finished with a 1.00 ERA in two appearances in the fall series. He struck out eight batters and allowed just
one run during his nine innings of work in the fall.
