MONROE, La. -- The ULM men's
golf team will travel west for the second tournament of the spring season as it
will tee off Friday in the fifth-annual University of Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate
held at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif.
The three-day event will begin at 7:30 a.m. (Pacific Time)
with participants starting from holes one to ten and each day will consist of
one 18-hole round. The par 72 course
stretches 7,305 yards and it was the host of the PGA's Bob Hope Chrysler
Classic in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
ULM will use the lineup of Mason Seaborn, Adam McCleary,
Greg Smail, Velten Meyer and Adam Monsen for the three-day, 54 hole tournament.
Joining the Warhawks at the event are: Wyoming (host),
Oregon State, Santa Clara, St. Mary's College (Calif.), Kansas, Nebraska, San
Francisco, Texas Tech, Idaho, Iowa State, TCU, Wichita State, Southern Utah,
Cal Poly, UALR and George Mason.
