MONROE, La. -- The September 14th contest between ULM and Wake Forest at BB&T Field in Winston-Salem, N.C., will air on the ACC Network/Raycom Sports Network as well as ESPN3 and the game has been scheduled for a 12:30 p.m. (ET) kick.
The match-up between the two schools will be the first ever meeting and it will be the Warhawks' third game against an opponent from the ACC. ULM battled No. 25 Clemson in the first road game of 2007 (Sept. 8) and traveled to No. 5 Florida State to open the 2011 campaign (Sept. 3).
ULM's trip to Winston-Salem will be the Warhawks' first trip to North Carolina since the 1966 season when they defeated East Carolina in Greenville, 21-14 (Sept. 24). In fact, ECU is the only team that ULM has faced from the state of North Carolina. The Warhawks are 1-1 all-time against the Pirates as ECU defeated ULM in Monroe on Oct. 30, 1965.
The televised contest against the Demon Deacons will push the Warhawks' season total to three televised games. ULM has a pair of Sun Belt Conference games that will air on ESPNU (Western Kentucky, Oct. 3; at Troy, Oct. 31) and both start times are still TBA.
