MONROE, La. – The ULM football team will play its fourth and final non-conference game this weekend as it travels to College Station, Texas for its third meeting all-time against the Aggies of Texas A&M. The contest is set to kick-off at 11:01 a.m. CT on the SEC Network with Dave Neal (pxp), Andre Ware (analyst) and Laura Rutledge (sideline) on the call.
The game will also air on KJLO 104.1 FM in Monroe and online at KJLO.com. Frank Hoffmann (play-by-play) and will be joined by Scott McDonald (analyst) and Richard Duran (sideline) beginning with the pre-game show at 10:30 a.m. CT.
First and Ten…
• ULM will step out of conference for the final time this season as it travels to College Station, Texas this weekend for a road tilt at Texas A&M... Saturday's contest between the Warhawks and the Aggies will be the third meeting all-time... Texas A&M leads the all-time series 2-0.
• When ULM lines up against Texas A&M this weekend it will be the squad's third game against an SEC team this season... ULM and SEC member Florida have the same number of road SEC games this season (three).
• ULM will also be facing its fourth Power Five teams as it battles Texas A&M at Kyle Field on Oct. 25... ULM has also lined up against Wake Forest (ACC), LSU (SEC) and Kentucky (SEC)... The Warhawks are one of two FBS teams to have a non-conference schedule comprised completely of Power Five teams (UMass is the other).
• Following the Nov. 1 game at Texas A&M, the Warhawks will close the season with four straight Sun Belt games as they face Appalachian State (Boone, N.C.; Nov. 8), UL-Lafayette (Monroe, La.; Nov. 15), New Mexico State (Las Cruces, N.M.; Nov. 22) and Georgia Southern (Statesboro, Ga.; Nov. 29).
• ULM dropped its first home game of the season last Saturday night as Texas State claimed a 22-18 win at JPS Field at Malone Stadium... With the loss, the Warhawks fell to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the Sun Belt Conference.
• ULM QB Pete Thomas was 22-for-36 for 236 yards with one interception against the Bobcats... He also rushed for 29 yards in the Sun Belt tilt against Texas State.
• Centarius Donald lead the ground attack as he finished with 21 carries for 86 yards and one touchdown against Texas State
• Ajalen Holley finished the Oct. 25 contest with game-highs in both receiving yards (89) and receptions (eight).
• For the second consecutive game, Tyler Cain racked up 169 all-purpose yards (career-best)... Against the Bobcats, Cain registered 66 kickoff return yards, 64 receiving yards and 39 rushing yards.
• The Warhawk defense saw its active streak of forcing at least one turnover come to an end as ULM failed to force a turnover against the Bobcats... The Wahawks' active streak had reached 32 straight games and was the longest active streak entering last week's games.
• Michael Johnson and Gerrand Johnson tied for the team-high with eight total tackles against Texas State... Michael Johnson also recorded a safety on his sack of Bobcat QB Tyler Jones in the endzone in the third quarter.
• Lorenzo Jackson finished Saturday's game against Texas State with career-highs in both tackles (six) and sacks (1.5)... Jackson assisted on a tackle for loss as the junior finished with two tackles for loss.
• In all, the Warhawk defense tallied nine tackles for loss (30 yards) and five sacks (26 yards)... With the five sacks against the Bobcats, ULM now has 26 sacks on the season and the defense needs just two more sacks to set a Sun Belt era (2001-pres.) high for a season... The 2009 squad, with 27 sacks, recorded the most sacks in a season during ULM's Sun Belt era.
• Justin Manton drilled a career-long 51-yard field goal in the opening quarter of the Texas State game... Manton's 51-yarder is also the longest field goal made by a Warhawk during the Sun Belt era (2001-pres.).
• Justin Manton finished the Texas State contest with three field goals (51, 43, 28) as he matched his career-high (three, vs. Troy, Sept. 27, 2014)... The 43-yarder in the second quarter marked the first time in his career that he hit two field goals of 40 or more yards in the same game.
• With his 10 total points against the Bobcats (three field goals, one PAT) he increased his career scoring total to 210 points and needs just 23 points to move into second place in ULM history in scoring... With two PATs at Kentucky on Oct. 11, he broke a tie for third between himself and WR Stepfret Williams (1992-95).

ULM and Texas A&M will meet for the third time on the gridiron on Saturday morning... The Aggies have claimed both prior meetings as they won 31-17 in College Station on Sept. 21, 1985 and 54-14 on Sept. 15, 2007... Texas A&M held a ranking of No. 18 in the 2007 meeting... This week they are receiving votes in the coaches' poll and are unranked in the AP poll.

Texas A&M had its first bye week of the season last week... The Aggies played eight straight games, including four games against ranked foes, before its week off... Texas A&M opened the season with a 5-0 mark and a 2-0 mark in SEC play, but the Aggies have dropped their last three games (at No. 12 Mississippi State, L, 31-48; No. 3 Ole Miss, L, 20-35; at No. 7 Alabama, L, 0-59).
QB Kenny Hill is averaging 331.1 yards per game through the air as he has amassed 2,649 passing yards through eight games with 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions... He has also rushed for 156 yards on the season (52 attempts, 19.5 avg)... Trey Williams and Tra Carson rank first and second on the team in rushing... Williams leads the team in both rushing yards (313) and touchdowns (five), while Carson sits second with 279 yards and four touchdowns... Five different wide receivers have tallied 300 or more receiving yards this season... Josh Reynolds leads the Aggies in both receiving yards (518) and touchdown receptions (eight).
On defense, Deshazor Everett leads the team in both solo tackles (32) and total tackles (53)... He is also one of two Aggies to have recorded an interception this season (Armani Watts is the other)... Myles Garrett leads the team in both tackles for loss (9.0) and sacks (7.5)... As a unit, the defense has tallied 44 tackles for loss (161 yards) and 23 sacks (113 yards)... In addition to their two interceptions, the Aggies have recovered four fumbles this season.
Josh Lambo has attempted eight field goals on the year (seven makes) with a long of 50... His only miss of the season was a 40 yard attempt against Arkansas... He is also 40-of-40 on PATs and leads the team with 61 total points.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Sept. 15, 2007) -- No. 18 Texas A&M used a consistent offensive attack and forced key turnovers in a 54-14 victory over visiting ULM Saturday evening in front of 77,309 fans at Kyle Field.
ULM (0-3) running back Calvin Dawson extended his consecutive game streak with at least 100 yards rushing to eight with 126 yards on the ground. He moved into third place on the both the career rushing list with 2,361 yards and the career rushing touchdown list with 22. Dawson also caught five passes for a career-high 42 yards; he finished with 168 all-purpose yards.
Texas A&M (3-0) quarterback Stephen McGee finished the game 19-of-33 for 237 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Mike Goodson led the ground attack rushing for 113 yards on 11 carries and a touchdown. Jorvorskie Lane ran for just 34 yards, but had two touchdowns.

The ULM Athletics Hall of Fame added three new members on Saturday, Oct. 25 with the Class of 2014 inductions of Stepfret Williams, Mike Grantham and Roger Mann.
The L Club and the Alumni Association presented the induction ceremony at the ULM Conference Center in the library. The 2014 class brings total membership to more than 130 individuals, along with the entire 1987 national championship football team. Hall of Fame plaques are displayed in the entryway of Fant-Ewing Coliseum.

STEPFRET WILLIAMS (1992-95)
Holds career records in receiving yards (3,177) and touchdown receptions (33). Named first team all-conference in 1993 (Southland), 1994 (1-A Independent) and 1995 (1-A Independent). Minden product finished four-year career with 16 100-yard receiving games, including six during the 1994 season. Tallied 264 receiving yards against Nevada in 1995, a record that still stands. Also holds five other spots in the top-50 all-time receiving games. Third-round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 1995.
ROGER MANN (1965-68)
Won eight Gulf States Conference titles including three in the 120-yard hurdles, three as a member of the 400m relay team, one in the 330-yard hurdles and one in the 400m hurdles… Three-time NAIA All-American… Set the GSC record in the 120-yard hurdles at 13.7 seconds and the 400m relay at 40.3 seconds… Placed second in the NAIA National College Championships in the 120-yard hurdles and tied for the fifth-fastest time in the world in the 120-yard hurdles at 13.4 seconds… holds the school record in the 330-yard hurdles at 36.6 seconds… competed in the 1968 Olympic trials… named co-captain his senior year… His team finished second in the Gulf States Conference all three years he was there... MIKE GRANTHAM (1981-84)
Versatile four-year letter winner for the football program played offensive line at both the guard and tackle … Named First-Team All-American by the Associated Press in 1983 and 1984… Also earned First-Team All-Southland Conference and All-Louisiana honors as a senior in 1984… Teams he played for posted a combined win total of 28 games… The 1982 team, in its first season in the Southland Conference, finished in second place and the 1983 squad claimed a share of the SLC crown with a 5-1 league mark.

ULM senior specialist Justin Manton drilled a 51-yard field goal in the opening quarter of the Texas State game on Oct. 25... Not only was it a career-long for Manton, but it was the first 50-plus yard field goal made by ULM since it joined the Sun Belt Conference (2001-pres.)... His 51-yard FG is the longest in the Sun Belt this season.
In the second quarter, Manton hit a 43-yard field goal and it marked the first time in his career that he made two field goals of 40 or more yards in the same contest... Manton added a 28-yard field goal in the third quarter as he tied career-highs in both makes (three) and attempts (three)... Manton was also 3-for-3 on field goals in the 22-20 win over Troy on Sept. 27, 2014.
