FROM COACH LYON
Against Wisconsin: We had a great effort in the Wisconsin game. To be four outs away from the win against a Power Five school that is having the kind of season Wisconsin is having is a good feeling. We are just young and can't make mistakes that end up giving the other team runs.
Against Princeton: I'm really proud of the way the team bounced back in game two and put up a big number against Princeton. Melanie was good in the circle, we played good defense and finally got the bats going. That's a good win against a team that played in the NCAA Tournament a year ago.
-The Warhawks close out action at the Houston Hilton Plaza Classic with two games on Saturday, against Sam Houston State and tournament host Houston.
