Jennifer Winningham begins her third season as a member of the ULM athletic training staff after four years at Tennessee Tech in a similar role. She works primarily with the ULM women's basketball team.
Winningham received her bachelor of science in
English-journalism with minors in health and physical education and
history from Tennessee Tech in 2003. While an undergraduate, she worked with
the Golden Eagle football team, but also assisted with the soccer
and volleyball teams.
She earned her master's degree in health science and exercise science with and
emphasis in exercise science
from Louisiana Tech University in 2005. While at Louisiana Tech, she worked at Lincoln Outpatient
Therapy Services (LOTS) in Ruston, La., as a graduate student
intern and worked the Lady
Techster volleyball and softball programs.
At Tennesse Tech, she worked with the
soccer and softball teams, as well as coordinating insurance for
all student-athletes. She also covered women's basketball
during the 2008-2009 season.
Winningham is a NATABOC certified athletic trainer and Tennessee
state licensed, and a member of the National Athletic
Trainer's Association (NATA) and Southeast Athletic
Trainer's Association (SEATA).
