MONROE, La. - The ULM volleyball team travels to South Alabama Friday to start its final back-to-back road series of the season. The Warhawks wrap up the trip through Alabama at Troy on Saturday. Both matches are slated to start at 7 p.m.

ULM will look to senior outside hitters Zuzana Markova and Samantha Morse to help . Morse leads the team with 153 total kills and in kills per set average (3.0). Markova cracked the 100 kill plateau this past weekend and ranks second on the team in the category. She is also averaging 2.21 kills per set, also second on the team. Markova is slightly ahead of Morse in assists with 115. Defensively, sophomore libero Marcela Araya enters the weekend as the conference leader in digs per set average (4.96).

The Warhawks (4-11, 0-6 Sun Belt) face a South Alabama team that is undefeated in its home gym Friday night at 7 p.m. The Jaguars (10-10, 3-3 Sun Belt) are paced offensively by freshman outside hitter Savannah Stewart on the attack. ULM closes out the trip at Troy on Saturday at 7 p.m. The Trojans (13-8, 4-2 Sun Belt) have shown they are a strong defensive team this season. They rank first in the conference, averaging just over 16 digs per set this season heading into the weekend. The Trojan defense is also holding opponents to a .160 hitting percentage, tied for second in the conference. Troy junior libero/defensive specialist Courtney Cohen trails behind only Araya in digs per set average (4.78).
