SHREVEPORT, La. -- ULM held its second practice of bowl week Wednesday afternoon at Independence Stadium.  The 75-minute practice session began at 1 p.m. and concluded at 2:15 p.m.

The team began the day with a team meeting at 9:15 a.m. followed by positional meetings.  Following the morning meetings, the team departed for Independence Stadium at noon.  After the practice session ended, the team returned to the hotel to relax before evening festivities.

The squad was treated to dinner at the nearby Riverview Hall.  Following the meal, ULM and Ohio transitioned to the auditorium for the "Big Game Show."  The two teams competed against each other in various question and answer games in a best-of-five format.

ULM senior quarterback Cody Wells and Ohio tight end Jordan Thompson were honored with an academic award prior to the "Big Game Show."

The Warhawks will continue preparations tomorrow as they work toward Friday's AdvoCare V100 Independence Bowl against the Bobcats.  Kickoff between ULM and Ohio is slated for 1 p.m. and will air nationally on ESPN.
