Warhawks Land 16 Student-Athletes on National Signing Day
SIGNING DAY CENTRAL
MONROE, La. -- Head football coach Todd Berry announced today the signing of 16 student-athletes for the 2013 season. It is Berry's fourth recruiting class since he took over as head coach at ULM in December of 2009.
ULM signed a total of nine offensive players (five offensive linemen, two quarterbacks, one running back, one wide receiver) and seven defensive players (three defensive backs, two defensive linemen, two linebackers).

Tremendous two-sport athlete at C.E. King High School... Three-year football letterwinner for head coach Don Price... Earned second team all-district honors (defensive end) as a senior... Was named honorable mention all-district following junior campaign... Earned academic all-district honors as a junior and a senior... Also a three-year letterwinner as part of the Panthers' basketball team and tabbed second team all-district as a junior.

One of the most decorated offensive linemen in Robertsdale High School history... Was a three-year football letterwinner under head coach Brian Campbell... Three-year varsity starter was selected as a team captain as a senior... Named all-county four times and was awarded the team's Offensive Lineman of the Year twice... Earned the team's Leadership Award... Was a member of the Golden Bears' track and field team for one season... Broke, and still holds, the school's shot put record... Graduated with honors and was named to the honor roll on numerous occasions... Served as a delegate to the 2012 Alabama Boys State for Leadership... Participated in ULM's 2012 Football Showcase in Shreveport, La.

Passing yardage total of 2,425 was a new Longview single-season record... Also rushed for 200 yards and six touchdowns... Was named first team all-district and second team all-east Texas after junior campaign.

Garnered all-district and honorable mention all-state accolades as a senior... Totaled 140 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, eight pass breakups, five forced fumbles, one interception returned for a touchdown during junior season (12 games)... Earned first team all-district, first team all-metro, and honorable mention all-state honors following junior year... Part of back-to-back state championship teams (2011 & 2012)... John Curtis was named national champions by USA Today following the 2012 season...
