The Warhawks sold the last of their 7000 tickets on Thursday, making it the first time in ULM history that it sold out before game day. It was the first sell out since March 6, 1982 when the Warhawks defeated Centenary in front of 7095 fans.
“I am excited for Coach Richard and his student-athletes. The best student-athlete experience comes from a sold out arena,” said Brian Wickstrom, Director of Athletics. “It was a total team effort involving the whole community.”
Sunday’s game marks the sixth sellout since Fant-Ewing Coliseum opened in 1971 and the third against Louisiana Tech. ULM is a perfect 5-0 all-time with attendance numbers of at least 7000.
The Warhawks are 2-0 at home this season and are looking to go undefeated in non-conference home games for the first time since 2007-08.
ULM holds a 3-3 record and is .500 after six games for the first time since 2009-10. The Warhawks will look to have a winning record after seven games for the first time since 2004-05.
Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. with promotions taking place before the game. To view the full list of promotions, click here.
