MONROE, La. -- The ULM football team will kickoff its final week of practices during the spring as they take to the field this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
The squad will practice again Wednesday (4:30 p.m.) and Friday (3:20 p.m.) before closing out the spring with the annual Spring Game on Saturday. Saturday’s spring game is slated to begin at 1 p.m. inside Malone Stadium.
Saturday’s Spring Game will also mark the final game on the current turf as the Warhawks will have new turf installed during the off-season.
The Spring Game Saturday is also part of a big day of ULM athletics. The alumni association will hold its annual La’ Louisianne Crawfish Boil beginning at 12:30 p.m. and concluding at 2 p.m. Tickets in advance are $25 and $30 on the day of the event; for more information please call 318-342-5420.
Both the ULM Softball and Baseball programs will be at home on Saturday. The Warhawk softball team will host Western Kentucky in a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m., while the baseball team will host Texas State in the second game of a three-game series Saturday night at 6 p.m.
