MONROE, La. – The ULM men’s basketball program added more talent and depth to its roster on Wednesday with the signing of Alex Brown and Justin Roberson.

“We are very excited to add Justin and Alex to our program. Both of these young men are quick, athletic and know how to score points. They will help us immediately as we continue to climb up the Sun Belt standings,” said ULM head coach Keith Richard.

Brown, a 6-4, 180-pound guard from Vernon, Fla., averaged 33 points and six rebounds per game at Vernon High School. He comes to ULM as a true freshman after earning All-State Third-Team honors this past season.

Roberson, a 6-1, 185-pound combo guard from Natchitoches, La., averaged 14.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game last season at Western Texas in Snyder, Texas. He led his junior college to a 23-8 record and was named to the All-Western Texas JC Conference First-Team. He played high school ball at Natchitoches Central and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

The duo joins an incoming recruiting class of Roderick Taylor, Mack Foster and Prince Cooper that signed in the fall.
