MONROE, La. -- The ULM men’s golf team is in Saucier, Mississippi this week to compete in the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
The tournament will be played at the Grand Bear Golf Club, which features a par-72, 7,072 yard course.
The Warhawks, who are seeded fifth of the 10 competing teams, enter the tournament with the lowest scoring average of the league (290.83).
Charlie Macneal, Greg Smail, Mason Seaborn, Velten Meyer and Calum Hill will represent ULM in a field that also includes Georgia State, South Alabama, Troy, ULL, UALR, Arkansas State, Texas State, UT-Arlington and Western Kentucky.
“We have two wins and some other top finishes, these guys have played well all spring,” said head coach Walt Williams, “We will go into the conference championship relaxed and confident. I believe in these guys!”
The opening round of the tournament will begin Monday morning at 8 a.m.
