MONROE, La. – The ULM men’s basketball program continued to cement its academic success under head coach Keith Richard as all five of his seniors, Millaun Brown, Marcelis Hansberry, Jayon James, R.J. McCray and Amos Olatayo graduated Saturday morning.

The senior class played a key role in the team’s back-to-back Sun Belt Conference academic team awards. They helped ULM become the league’s top team in the classroom as the Warhawks posted the SBC’s best cumulative grade-point average over both the past two seasons.

Additionally, Hansberry, McCray and Olatayo were all named to the Academic Honor Roll.

It’s another big step for the Warhawks, who were sanctioned by the NCAA for low Academic Progress Rate scores four years ago right before Richard took over at the helm.
