MONROE, La. - The ULM beach volleyball team dropped two games on Saturday at home at the Bayou Beach Bash, with a 3-2 loss to Houston Baptist and 4-1 loss to TCU on the second day of the tournament.


-The Warhawks opened the day against Houston Baptist. The two wins that ULM posted came at the four and five positions. HBU was able to finish off the Warhawks in two sets in three separate matches. ULM pushed the Huskies to three sets in the three and five positions.

-TCU, who went undefeated on the weekend, won four of the five matches, with the only win for the Warhawks coming at the four position by the pair of Rebecca Brown and Catherine Griffith. The only match that went to three sets in the contest came at the four position.

-Brown and Griffith are on a hot streak, having won their last nine games that they have competed in at either the five position or the four position. The pair has won six of their nine matches in two sets.

-ULM also honored its seniors today in their final home match of the season. The senior class included Delanie Driver, Hadley Swartz, Rebecca Brown, Kori Simpson, Ana Ribiero and Claire Crossfield.
