Learfield's Warhawk Sports Properties recently named Nick White as manager of business development, effective December 1, 2016.
“We're excited to have Nick join the team, someone obviously who already possesses a deep affinity for the Warhawks,” said Joe Domingos, general manager for Warhawk Sports Properties, ULM Athletics' multimedia rights partner. “No stranger to Warhawk athletics, Nick has been working with me as a member of Warhawk Sports Properties' radio team over the past three seasons.”
White enters his seventh season overall with the Warhawk Radio Network, serving as the sideline reporter for football, play-by-play for men's and women's basketball teams and baseball, as well as the host of “Hawk Talk” - the ULM football, basketball and baseball coaches show - since August 2010. He will continue his broadcast role for the Warhawk Radio Network.
In addition to his work with ULM Athletics, White has been a mainstay in local sports talk radio in Monroe, having been at ESPN 97.7 since August 2003, most recently serving as co-host of the Morning Drive with Dietrich and White. He was named “Best of the Delta” in talk radio for three consecutive years (2010-2012) by Delta Style Magazine. He has also been a finalist for Sun Belt Conference Broadcaster of the Year and was named the top high school football play-by-play voice for North Louisiana in 2007 by The Ruston Daily Leader.
A native of Farmerville, La., White currently resides in Monroe with his wife, Amber, and their two sons Bryan and Micah.
