THIBODAUX, La. -- Unplayable field conditions have forced game one between ULM and Nicholls State to be suspended in the bottom of the third inning with the Warhawks leading 3-0. The game will resume at 12 p.m. on Sunday followed by a nine-inning contest to close out the series.

The Warhawks (5-4) scored twice in the top of the second inning on a fielding error by the Colonels. Corben Green extended his hit streak to all 10 games this season with a two-out double in the top of the third inning to score Joey Rapp, who reached on a walk.

Drew Granier had held Nicholls hitless through its first two at-bats of the game and struck out two.
