Final Results: ULM 6th

Location: University Club at Arlington/Richmond, Kentucky

Richmond, Ky. - The ULM women’s golf team wrapped up the Colonel Classic with a strong showing as they maintained their sixth place spot throughout the final round on Saturday as they posted a 309 team score in the final round.

NOTABLES

-Olivia Landberg wrapped up the tournament in Kentucky with a 77, picking up a pair of birdies on the sixth and 15th holes. She finished the event in ninth overall to lead all Warhawks.

-Devanshi Naik had a team-best 75 on Saturday, highlighted by a pair of birdies on holes 13 and 14, to lead to a even-par 36 on her back nine. Naik finished in a tie for 11th place overall.

-Shani White had a rough final round with a plus-eight score of 80. White struggled on Saturday, going birdieless as she finished in a tie for 26th overall in the tournament.

-Michaela Osborne rounded out her tournament on Saturday with a plus-five score of 77. She picked up a pair of birdies on the second and 15th holes on the way to her 77.

-Scarlett Eaton had a final round score of 82 after struggling with a back nine score of 43 she bounced back with a front nine score of 39.

-Lesley Atkins finished Saturday’s competition with a final round score of 82. She posted a 42 on the back nine and 40 on her second nine on the round.

Thought on the tournament: It was good to see us close to a top five finish and Devanshi and Olivia have three solid rounds. We are still struggling to get a consistent fourth score that will help make us competitive for a top five finish. 

UP NEXT

-The Warhawks return to the course again on Friday, April 7 in the Jan Weaver Murray State Invitational, with the two-day event starting with 36 holes of action on day one.
