Head Coach Joni Stephens

Thought on the Event: Not what I expected to see from our rounds today. This was a challenging course, but we made it harder than it had to be. We have worked all year on swinging freely and not trying to guide the ball. We struggled with that today. We got into trouble early in the first round which caused some uncertainty and led to some careful swings and tentative putts. We also had a hard time staying in the moment and not holding on to previous holes that we struggled on. Heading into conference, we have to return to our game plan and play with confidence in and commitment to our decisions.

-The Warhawks now head to Muscle Shoals, Alabama for the Sun Belt Conference Championships, which are set to tee off on Monday, April 17.
