MONROE, La. - The ULM softball team will play its second Sun Belt Conference series of the year when the Warhawks host Georgia Southern at Geo-Surfaces Field on Friday and Saturday.

Last time out: ULM returned home for the first time in three weeks and took care of visiting Incarnate Word by the score of 6-1 on Wednesday, highlighted by home runs from sisters Ana and Hunter Hogan. The Warhawks opened the scoring early in the first inning, converting on a double steal by Sami Billeaudeau and Sydney McKay to open the scoring. The Warhawks never looked back after that on the way to a 6-1 victory.

Turf sweet turf: The Warhawks remain at home home this weekend after an extended road trip the last few weeks. The team will now play six of its next seven games on their home field.

Georgia Southern: The Eagles played their first Sun Belt Conference series of the season against Troy and won two of the three games. The team is coming off of a midweek loss to No. 11 ranked Alabama. Georgia Southern is 0-3 on the road, but the Eagles have won five of the last seven games that they have played.
