Event: Border Olympics

Monroe, La. – The ULM men's golf team looks for its third consecutive tournament title of the spring season when the Warhawks compete in the 2017 Border Olympics beginning on Friday morning.
-The event will start at 7:45 a.m. on Friday morning with 36 holes of continuous golf for the field. After the 36 holes on Friday, the Warhawks will then join the field with an 7:45 a.m. shotgun start to finish the tournament on Tuesday.
-The Warhawks will send Hogan Arey, Guillaume Fanonnel, Joao Girao, Andoni Etchenique and Brady Price onto the course as their five-member team.
-Last time out, ULM came from behind on Tuesday to capture back-to-back tournament victories to open the 2017 season, winning the Colin Montgomerie/HBU Invitational by four shots.
-In last year’s Border Olympics, the Warhawks finished in a tie for 11th as Baylor dominated their way to an eight-shot win for the event.
-This year's tournament will feature: Houston, Bowling Green, Campbell, Houston Baptist, Lamar, Little Rock, Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese State, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Oral Roberts, Rice, Sacramento State, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Austin, Texas State, ULM, UTEP and UTSA.

-Following the Border Olympics, the Warhawks will head to Little Rock for the Little Rock/First Tee Intercollegiate. That two-day event will begin on March 27.
