MONROE, La. – The Warhawk men's and women's golf teams' annual ULM Farm Bureau® Insurance Golf Classic will be held over two days, Friday and Saturday, July 14-15, beginning with a dinner and auction on Friday night before the tournament on Saturday at Calvert Crossing Country Club.

Participants can register as an individual ($250) or can register a four-player team ($800), while sponsorships are also available. Registration and sponsorship opportunities can be found here.

Registration includes the dinner and auction on Friday night and the round of golf on Saturday.

“I am very appreciative of Louisiana Farm Bureau and Bob Cooper for their support. Our events are very important to the continued growth and success of both our Men's and Women's golf programs at ULM,” Director of Golf Tim Baldwin stated. “Ouachita Parish is a great golf community and we look forward to providing lots of fun and comradery for all participants. New this year will be numerous food and drink stations located throughout the golf course at Calvert Crossing. There will also be challenges and prizes to be earned. We expect a full field of participants, so I encourage players to not delay to reserve their tee time preference.”

“Louisiana Farm Bureau Insurance Companies is proud to sponsor the ULM Farm Bureau® Insurance Golf Classic,” Ouachita Parish Farm Bureau Agent Bob Cooper said. “This will be a great gathering of supporters for two days to enhance our golf program and give back to the university and our area. Louisiana Farm Bureau is excited to be hosting for the third year and appreciates the opportunity to be involved in supporting our community in Northeast Louisiana.”

On Friday, July 14 at 6:00 p.m. the dinner and auction will be held inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum, catered by Catfish Cabin, and will be a fun-filled night of good company, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and exciting auction items to bid on. Scramble participants and a guest are admitted free of charge; extra guests may purchase a ticket for $50.

At Calvert Crossing Country Club on Saturday, the format will be a four person scramble with each team having the option of an 8:00 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. start time. There will be a limited field of 25 teams per session as the field will be limited to the first 50 paid teams (foursomes) overall.
