Monroe, La. – The ULM tennis team is set for the NCAA Tournament which begins on Saturday against the Aggies of Texas A&M. The teams will meet at 10:00 a.m. in Waco, Texas, with the winner advancing to play the Baylor/Texas A&M Corpus Christi winner on Sunday.

NOTABLES

-The last time the Warhawks were on the courts they picked up their first Sun Belt Conference championship in comeback fashion with a 4-3 win against South Alabama on April 23 in New Orleans.

-This marks the second time that the Warhawks will face an SEC opponent this season after ULM faced Auburn in the opening weekend of the season, with Auburn handing the Warhawks their lone loss of the spring in a 4-1 match.

-The Warhawks are led by senior Petra Horakova, who enters Saturday's match with a perfect 16-0 mark in dual play this season. Tiffany Mylonas sits at 12-2 on the spring while freshman Madalina Grigoriu sits at 12-2 out of the number six position heading into Saturday's first round.

-The Warhawks and Aggies faced five common opponents during the spring season. Those five included Stephen F. Austin, Louisiana Tech, South Alabama, SMU and Auburn. The Aggies went a perfect 5-0 agaisnt that group of teams while the Warhawks went 4-1 with their only blemish of the spring coming against Auburn.
