MONROE, La.  -  The ULM women’s basketball team will take on Texas State Saturday afternoon in its final Sun Belt Conference regular season game. The team will also recognize its four seniors prior to tipoff.

Last time out: ULM fell to UTA 83-47 in the final Thursday game of the season in Sun Belt Conference play inside Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Warhawks were down early after the Mavericks created a 19-point difference in the first quarter that ULM was unable to come back from.

Seniors: Prior to tipoff the team will take a few moments to honor its four seniors in Dani Anderson, Journee Beard, Andreanna Jackson and Stephanie Ratliff.  More information on the seniors can be found here

Opponent: The Bobcats have won six of their last eight games, but fell to the Ragin' Cajuns on Thursday night. Texas State holds a 6-8 record on the road. The team is led by Taelor Deer, who leads the team in five different categories: points (310), field goals (121), free throws (37), assists (94) and steals (44).

Three-Point Shooting Challenge: The three-point challenge is a Sun Belt Conference initiative set up to help save lives from cancer by raising donations for every three-pointer made during games in February through March. More information can be found here.

Sun Belt Tournament: All 12 teams will gain a bid to the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament. The teams will descend on New Orleans, La. and compete in Lake Front Arena from March 7-12. Tickets can be purchased through the ULM ticket office.
