SCOUTING THE BOBCATS –

Ohio enters the 2026-27 campaign coming ranked fifth in the Mid-American Conference Preseasno Coaches' Poll. The Bobcats are coming off of an 18-14 overall and 11-7 MAC record during the 2025-26 season. Ohio finished the regular season as the No. 5 seed in the MAC Tournament played in the semifinals, dropping the game to No. 1 Miami, 52-80. The Bobcats earned a bid to the WNIT and hosted UMBC for the opening round, but fell 58-62 in overtime.

Ohio returns 10 players from it's 2025-26 roster and welcomes five new players, four of which are freshmen. Returner Bailey Tabeling was named to the 2026-27 Preseason All-MAC First Team after averaging 14.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 steals in 32 games last season. Those numbers earned her a place on the All-MAC Second Team for 2025-26.

SERIES HISTORY –

Monday's meeting will be the first in program history between the Warhawks and the Bobcats.

NEW BEGINNINGS –

Second-year head coach Scotty Fletcher has reloaded his roster following his first season at the helm. The team returns zero minutes from the 2025-26 roster, and had just one returning team member. Fourth-year center Roge'Ne' Hillard is the only Warhawk that was on campus last season, but medically redshirted before the 2025-26 year began. Hillard joined ULM with Coach Fletcher when he came from Pearl River CC. The Warhawks' roster features eight guards, four forwards and one center.

ULM is one of three DI schools to return zero minutes from the previous season. Utah Tech and Tennessee make up the rest of the list.

WE'VE BEEN HERE BEFORE –

The 2026-27 ULM roster features zero freshmen. The 12 newcomers each joined the Warhawks from the transfer portal, including eight from Division I programs and four from the junior college level. Nevaeh Scott (Old Dominion), Kyla McBride (Texas State) and Destini Ward (Georgia Southern) came to Monroe from other Sun Belt programs (Texas State's final season in the Sun Belt was 2025-26). Erin Henry (Coppin State), Aiyanna Culver (Chicago State), Kylee Hunt (Northern Kentucky), Kayla Lindsey (Mount St. Mary's) and Amani Williams (Presbyterian College) round out the rest of the team's DI experience.

Lea Nadolny (Southern Idaho), Chardel Terrell (Murray State College), Summer Faleafa (North Idaho College) and Nuria Mucongo (Clarendon College) make up the transfers from the JUCO ranks.

After being the only program in DI that was 100% made up of upperclassmen and one of six programs with no true freshmen on their roster during the 2025-26 season, ULM once again has no first-years and only three second-years.

FAMILIAR FOE –

Although this is the first time ULM and Ohio have ever faced, fourth-year Nevaeh Scott competed against the Bobcats last season while with Old Dominion. The guard helped lift the Monarchs to victory over Ohio while in Athens, scoring eight points with an assist and a steal in just under 13 minutes on the floor. Scott will look to defeat the Bobcats on the road for the second season in a row, but this time representing the Warhawks.

CHAMPIONSHIP TIES –

Fourth-year guard Neveah Scott and fourth-year forward Kyla McBride reconnect in Monroe after spending their first two seasons at Northwest Florida State. The two were NJCAA Division I National Champions in 2024-25 with the Raiders. Scott was named the NJCAA Tournament MVP after leading the team with 25 points, four rebounds and four assists in the championship game. She also earned spots on the NCJAA First Team All-Conference and was an NJCAA First Team All-American. McBride scored 13 points in the Raiders' championship game to help lift the team to victory. Scott and McBride reunite in Monroe to compete for the Warhawks after splitting to compete for Old Dominion (Scott) and Texas State (McBride) in the Sun Belt last season.

INTERNATIONAL WARHAWKS –

ULM's roster features three players from countries other than the United States. Lea Nadolny is from Montreuil, France, Summer Faleafa is from Auckland, New Zealand and Nuria Mucongo is from Luanda, Angola.

MAC-SBC CHALLENGE –

For last season's MAC-SBC Challenge, ULM faced Eastern Michigan and Buffalo. The Warhawks defeated Eastern Michigan 80-71 in the season opener in Monroe, and beat Buffalo 73-64 on the road to sweep the challenge.

UP NEXT –

ULM takes the court in b1Bank Fant Coliseum for the first time on Thursday, November 5 against Centenary. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. for the home opener.
